India Plog Run- Delhi

Under Swatchh Bharat campaign, WWF-India in partnership with United Way is organizing the India Plog Run on 2nd Oct in 50 cities across India to spread awareness and inspire action. It is an initiative by Ramakrishna G, an advisor with United Way India and Guinness World Record holder for environmental projects on amount of trash collected. The will be a 3 km walk/run in which participants will pick up plastic trash and bring it at the finish line where collection agencies or recyclers will be available to gather the plastic waste and dispose it correctly. Participants will be encouraged to take the 11-kg challenge as part of their plog run. Orientation is necessary to attend for participating in the blog run.
There will be two places where the plog run will take place: 1) Connaught Place (M Block) outer circle, 2) Lagpat Nagar (Part 3)
Monday, 30th September 2019 Time: 3 pm - 5 pm Godrej Auditorium, WWF-India
Its a 3 km walk/run in which participants pick up plastic trash and bring it to finishing point.

Reusable mask and gloves for the clean up activity Drinking water and light snacks.
Volunteers will be provided a bag for collecting trash at the venue by the organizers.
