Jallosh: Cleanup of Mumbai Beaches and Rivers

Operation “Jallosh-Clean Coasts”, the biggest clean-up of the rivers and beaches in the city of Mumbai is an initiative of Project Mumbai, a not for profit, and is being supported by several like-minded and award-winning groups, including #MahimBeachCleanUp, WWF-India, Beach Warriors, Beach Please, River March, MCGM, Mangrove Foundation, NEERI just to name a few. The Beach stretches along Mumbai’s Girgaon Chowpatty, Worli, Dadar, Mahim, Bandra, Versova, Juhu and Madh will be the focus areas while Poisor, Mithi, Oshiwara and Dahisar rivers would witness the river banks being cleaned of waste. The volunteering opportunity is open to individuals, corporates, colleges and schools, Non-profit voluntary bodies, youth groups, young and old.
